"This foundation - that was founded by Jim Foster, former President of Daytona International Speedway - is in its ninth year of existence and was founded to enhance the services of Stewart-Marchman Center.  Foundation leadership recognized that public funds (tax dollars) would only pay for key treatment services and not for the ancillary items that make up a quality program.  As of this date the foundation has accumulated total assets of around $3 million dollars.  Current efforts to expand residential capacity in Flagler County will significantly increase the asset base of the foundation and allow more services to be provided in better facilities.  We are proud of our accomplishments and are eager to work at meeting the future needs of our citizens."

- Peter Heebner, Chairman, Stewart-Marchman Foundation
